Bann whaling world wide and have huge fines if caught, and put in jail.

•Over 1500 whales are killed each year •Known environmental threats to whales include global warming, pollution, over fishing, ozone depletion, noise such as sonar weaponry, and ship strikes. Industrial fishing threatens the food supply of whales and also puts whales at risk of entanglement in fishing gear.

DONT TRY WHALE SUSHI!!!

blubber of dead whales in some areas is so highly contaminated with organ chlorines such as PCBs and pesticides that it would be classified as toxic waste!

Step 1: Join Greenpeace •Join it on the website and get a job at Greenpeace •Sign all the petitions to support whaling for Greenpeace •You will need a computer to join onto the website or email or write a letter. •Website: http://www.greenpeace.org/international/en/

WHY important or worthy of change: It’s cruel and unnecessary for killing too many whales each year for scientific research and some meals in Japan. If this carries on whales are on their way to extinction by 2020.

5 STEPS TO BANN WHALING

Step 3: send it all over New Zealand •Get kids interested by going to schools and share what is happening •If you can talk to a NZ leader of the board and ask for help •This can be achieved by telling them a lot of facts and cruel things that they do to the whales. How many they kill each year. •Make big billboards or lots of posters saying how you can help and what’s happening to bring attention.

Step 4: Go over to Japan and protest •Make a large group, post it out through the internet and Greenpeace website so heaps of people turn up •Protest all night and day until they come and decide with us…or the police come. •Will need big posters and horns •This needs to be done as soon as possible before any other whales are killed.

Step 2: Make a petition •Get as many signatures as you can •Send a letter to the Japanese government with the petitions signed. •You will need to find the contact of someone in the government.

Step 5: Take ACTION! •Hop on board the Green peace Rainbow warrior •Hunt down the whaling ships •Do what ever it takes to stop them, like jump on the whaling boats anchor. •To do this you will need to never give up.
