I fell in love with books at a young age... I remember arguing with my older brother at the dinner over 'To Kill a Mockingbird' -- & I was only about 9 years old! I began writing short stories around that time. I'd spend many a summer day sititng at my desk, so proud of my growing stack of manuscripts (illustrated!) next to me: 'The Mystery of the Old Briefcase', 'The Mystery ofthe Old Lady', were among some of the titles. Eventually I expanded out of the mystery genre, but I was never published. I was able to witness the birth of MTV when was only 5, but I remember it vividly. The Incredible Hulk was my favorite t.v.. show. I remember how classrooms turned on televisions (yes, some rooms had just gotten t.v.'s!) to watch the Challenger take off and then... well, gone. Some favorite books/authors from my childhood: The Bobbsey Twins, Behind the Attic Wall, Emily Dickinson, Robert Frost, Stephen King, The Three Investigators... Honestly, my list could go on forever.
Atari... another multimedia favorite when I was a kid. Click above to play some games!
THIS IS ME TODAY!
