Shy Trapped Inside
something as simple as small conversation mind goes blank like know one has spoken i cant think of anything to reply or say so i just say nothing then they walk away well now i feel stupid why didn't i speak but if i did id probbly look like a freak mixing my words saying what i don't mean rather be a shadow at night hidden unseen one on one, never able to feel at ease coz ill do the wrong thing, to eager to please when out in a group, its easyer to bare coz there are other's, so eyes are else where i don't feel like the pressures all on me to make convesation, i just nod and agree
something as simple as walking down the street i don't know why but i always stare at my feet its as if i don't want to be seen stay hidden away or the fear you will speak and ill have nothing to say its a horrible feeling i don't wanna be shy some days are easier and i can say hi then we will talk i have the courage to speak but when it comes down to it its acceptance i seek when im accepted then you will see when i get to know you i can slowly be me Once i know they like me for me then i can be myself be all i can be thanks to my family thanks to my friend i can be who i am no need to pretend
