Pictured here is Dr. Josef Mengele, infamous Nazi doctor of the notorious Auschwitz during the Holocaust.

Though hs death was in 1979, the corpse in question wan not found until 1985, when it was learned Mengele drowned in a swimming accident. It wasn't until 1992 that the remains were confirmed to be Mengele's. This video is of said confirmation.
Auschwitz, concentration/deathcamp, and home to Mengele's sick experiments on victims chosen through his famous selection process. To the left, endless labor, torture and starvation, as well as probable death, to the right, execution.
Twins were known to be Mengele's favored subjects for experimentation. Mengele's hideous experiments were known to include disections, sex changes, poison testing, immunization test, eye color changing, pressure chamber test, the fusion of twins, blood extraction, as well as other countless, gruesome experiments.

An elderly, Josef Mengele, photographed long after fleeing to various South American countries such as Argentina and Paraguay. Mengele left Auschwitz soon after the allies began invading, and settled mainly in Paraguay and then Brazil until his death in 1979.
