Maximum Ride

There is quite a lot of romance in the books between Fang and Max, and lots and lots of butt kicking action. It is a seriously awesome book that will have you reading it wherever you go (no exaggeration here!). You may be thinking, what is the flock’s mission? Well there is a mission, but it’s more of Max’s mission, Max’s mission to save the world...

Angel can read minds, control minds and communicate with minds, but not only human minds, but animal minds as well. She can also breathe under water, talk to fish and morph (but not like Erasers). Iggy is blind, so there isn’t much that he can do, but he can tell the colour of something by feeling it, and he can see if you stand against something white. Gazzy is really cool. He can imitate anyone or anything, and there is a reason why he is called Gassman. One of his special powers is that he can let of a toxic gas bomb through his body (a.k.a fart) >.< Max doesn’t have such a cool power, but she is the leader of the flock and can fly super fast at like 200 miles per hour and she’s like a dog, she can smell where someone has been. Fang’s power is kind of lame, all he can do is camouflage. Nudge can attract metal objects if she wants to, and she is supreme at breaking and entering.

Maximum Ride is a fabulous 4 series book. It’s about 6 avian human kids who are 98% human and 2% bird. The awesome things about these kids are that they have retractable wings on their back which allow them to FLY!!! But Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gassy (a.k.a Gassman) and Angel are always on the run from mad scientists who are actuary their creators.

Stolen away from their parents, the flock live by themselves with Jeb, a former scientist, who kidnaps them away from the School (The laboratory in which they grew up in) and treats them as his own kids. Even though the flock don’t come from the same parents (except for Gazzy and Angel) they treat each other like one big family.

Each flock member is very special. They all have super strength and eye sight and of course the cool power to fly, but also have their own unique powers which they find out through each series of books.

But then one day, Jeb disappears and the flock is left alone to survive by themselves. They are always hunted and tracked down by another successful experiment, Erasers (98% human, 2% wolf) who can morph into a wolf and back whenever they please.

Book No. 4 Max and her flock fly off to Antarctica to save the world. This is Max's last chance to do so... can she do it?

Book No. 2 Back to school where everything gets all weird. Will Max find the flock's parents? Or will they get adopteded by another?

Book No. 3 Can Max identify the tratior in her flock? Is it true that she has a brother who is her worst enemy?

OMG IM SO SORRY MEL! I DIDNT MEAN TO FLAG YOURS AS INAPPROPRIATE IT WAS BY ACCIDENT!!! IM SO SORRYYYYY by the way very good glog very nicely detailed and informative. But the words are kind of hard to read when you scroll them down because the text box is kind of small for example the one starting with stolen away from their parents... Overall very nice work
