Christina Aguilera
Christina Marie Aguilera was born on the 18th of December in 1980. She is an American pop singer and songwriter. She was signed to RCA Records after recording "Reflections" for the Disney film "Mulan" She released her first abum "Christina Aguilera" in 1999. She was born in Staten Island, New York.
As a child Christina aspired to be a singer. She sang in local talent shows and competitions. In 1990 she entered "Star Search" but lost the competition. At 14 Christina recorded her first single "All I Wanna Do." "Reflections" was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for the Best Original Song.
Her first album "Christina Aguilera" reached the top of the Billboard 200 and Candian album charts. It sold 8 million copies in the US and over 14 million worldwide. Her singles "Genie In A Bottle" "What A Girl Wants"and "Come On Over Baby" topped the Billboard Hot 100 and "I Turn To You" reached number 3.
