Rihanna was born in Saint Michael,Barbados. Her first single "Pon De Replay" reached number 2 in the US Billboard Hot 100. "Music Of The Sun" sold 2 million copies worldwide and 500,000 in the US.
Rihannas second album "A Girl Like Me" was released in 2006. Her single "SOS" reached number one in the Billboard Hot 100. " A Girl Like Me" went on to sell 3.5 million copies worldwide.
Rihanna is currently signed with the record label Def Jam Recordings. Rihanna released her first album "Music Of The Sun" in 2005 and has since become successful worldwide.
