He twirled her around in circles through the sweet night air. Her long lucious locks of honey blonde hair cutting through the night sky. He looked into the eyes of his lover, her green eyes twinkling back. He pulled her close and inahled the rich smell of her purfume. They danced in the night with the moon as their guide. Out into the street they spun. He stepped back to take a look at his darling girl. Lights pierced the somber sky and tires screeched. She screamed desperatly out into the silent night grasping for the hand of her beloved. She tried out to no avail. The scene unfolded before her eyes was horrid. She hysterically ran to his side. His lifeless body lay bloody and limp. Shocked and torn she whispered words of love into his ear as she held his body. Tears streamed down her face forming puddles on his chilled skin. She sat with his body in her arms until the cops arrived. Blue and red lights flickered over the buildings and cars. An officer approached the young girl and pried her arms off the young man. Screaming in protest she was placed in an amabulance and driven to the local hospital. Out of the back window she watched her lovers body until he was out of site. From that moment on she swore to herself she would never love again. Hailey awoke screaming and clawing at the sheets on her bed. This isn't real. He can't be gone. She forced herself to sit up and slowly looked to the empty spot on the bed beside her. A tear slid down her milky skin. The sheets still smelled like him. His clothes lay in a pile at the end of the bed. It seemed like only yesterday she had awoke to the steady lulling of his heartbeat and the warmth of his soft skin. Pulling the covers back and climbing out of bed, Hailey thought back to the that night merely a week ago when Jasper had been taken from her grasp. She stumbled over to the window and drew back the curtains. The sun peeped up over the horizon and the birds chirped. The world seemed to be enjoying the day while she wept inside. Full of rage she ripped the curtains closed and exploded in tears. She glanced around her room for the box she had placed all Jasper's letters in. When they were apart, Jasper had wrote to her everyday. She looked under her bed where she kept the shoebox. Startled Hailey cried out when she realized the box was missing. Frantically she tore apart the room in search of the box. It was no where to be found. She was torn. Hailey grabed Jasper's picture off the bed side table and slid to the ground in tears. What had she done to deserve the pain placed upon her? Holding tightly to his picture she wept for her lover. Flashbacks of the incident played over and over in her mind. One minute they were on top of the world then he was...gone. Just gone. Hailey curled up in a ball and drifted off to sleep.Hailey woke a couple hours later with a strong urge to puke. She ran down the hall to the bathroom and puked in the toilet. This was just wonderful. She was sick. She decided to take a nice hot shower. Standing under the steaming water she thought about Jasper. A little while later she climbed out of the shower and dried herself off. Standing there looking in the mirror she finally saw just how miserable she was. She walked to her room and put on a comfy pair of pajamas. She walked over to her door and glanced up. As she walked she noticed the date circled on her calender. Hailey stopped midstep and looked closer at her calender. The date circled was July 3rd. Written in the circle was three simple words, "mother nature's curse." She knew exactly what that meant. Hailey looked at the phone and realized today was July 26th. Her period was over two weeks late.

oh wow!!! this was brilliant!! loved it!! um maybe call it..the last dance? or mother natures blessing? maybe not blessing but something like that..lol
