What is matter? Matter is anything that has a mass and occupies space (examples include but are not limited to cheese and your mom)
STATES OF MATTER
There are four phases/states of matter: - solid - liquid - vapor/gas - plasma
What are states or phases? The states and phases of matter is the type of matter which effects the substances characteristics (physical and chemical) yet remain the same substance just a different form
Matter is always changing phases and states depending on pressure and energy. Some of the phases changes include: -vaporization - condensation - freezing - melting - sublimation - deposition - ionization - deionization Usually the phases/states of matter are working in equilibrium

Kinetic energy is the energy of motion and movement. According to the kinetic theory, even tiny particle is in constant motion.
