I Believe in Jesus as a God of love who came to redeem all people...But I am wary of the christian mainstream culture and some of the BS I have encountered that seems to go with it.
I like all types of movies; especially classics. But, I love suspense films and horror films
I am passionately against Corporal Punishment. A lot of my cynicism towards chruches and christian organizations has to do with christians who take the bible out of context to support hitting children. I know the harm that can be caused by corporal punishment personally, and I find it repugnant when people in churches say that a loving and compassionate god supports paddling, belting, whipping, spanking, switching, or caning a child to teach them.
