I really like this poem, it has lots of emotions in it. I absolutely loved it how the author describes the person who they are referring to in every positive detail. This poem made me think about who I love and who I would say this exact words to. This poem isn’t that long, but it is long enough to be able to express your feelings. I got touched with this poem by the authors words.
“A Love So Great” Written by Alexandra J. Have you ever felt a love so great I have Just by looking into your eyes By watching you when your asleep Your chest rise and fall with every breath you take. Have you ever felt love so great I have When you walk into a room My heart still skips a beat The butterflies in my stomache flap their gentle wings Have you ever felt love so great I have and I hope you have too. Remember that everytime we fight That everytime we shout No matter what, my love for you is always strong Yesterday, today, tomorrow, forever and all eternity. This love I feel and have will always be yours. So hold it and care for it like I do yours.
Metaphor: “The butterflies in my stomach flap their gentle wings.” metaphor because the author doesnt use the words like or as to compare. Alliteration: “My heart still skips a beat” alliteration because 'S' repeats twice in a row.
