My Mask I wear a mask every day To hide the sorrows that haunt me All the pain and guilt Must never show Every day it gets worse From the comments to the laughter But I musn’t show I’m weak For they will only make things worse Depression and darkness unseen Tears and sobs go unheard Feelings and thoughts go untold All behind the mask I wear every day
