Astronomers around the world are agreeing with Tycho's data because his calculations are thorough and complete and the thought of this is such an outrageous idea. People today agree with him because we have the technology to see that Tycho was right about the universe being helio centric, everything revolves around the sun.
Tycho Brahe has also faced threats of persecution by the Holy Roman Empire for heresy. The Church teaches that the Earth is the center of the universe. And if the church is wrong about that, then Absolute Monarchies will fall entirely.
