This is the church where we stayed, it's a couple of miles outside of looe in a hamlet called morval. It is a really lovely church, both physically and spiritually. The people are kind and warm and generous, and the teaching is always a challenge and an encouragement. The pastor there is an American man named John Gillespie, I really recomment his preaching.
The thing I like best about going on UBM are the amazing friendships you build, the different people you get to meet, and just the general encouragement it is to spend a week with other Christians your own age, sharing the Gospel with children and their parents... many of whom have never heard it's amazing news before!!
This year I went on a beach mission from 9th-23rd august...yes...2 weeks of it!! And the first week was spent with much the same team as I was with last year... even though it rained quite a lot, we had a really good time, and the Gospel was heard in Looe!!
Each day...when it wasn't raining... we went down to the beach...played games with the kids in the morning and told them a bible story, and had our holiday special in the afternoon with a quiz, songs, a story, a memory verse and a truth spot... it was fun both for the team and the children!!
