Constitution of Beliefs- Everyone is Equal despite religion, ethnic backround, or sexual orientation. We believe that all people have the right to an Education despite their personal economic situation. We believe in freedom of speech, and that everyone has the right to express their own beliefs and advocate their ideas. Church and state should be seperated when making laws.
InFluences: The Enlightment-greater rights for common people, and the decline of influence from the church.
Law process: we use the process of Checks and balances which is based on the philosophy of Baron de Montesquieau, that divdes goverment into three powers. Executive Branch- administerd by President, .who carries out laws. Legislative Branch, who is administrated by Congress, makes the laws. Divided into 2 parts, are 100 Senators, 2 from each state, and 435 represenatives who decide if bills should become laws. Judicial branch- administerd by supreme court and 9 justices, interprets laws according to our constitution of beliefs.
