The Only way to be Satisfied is happiness in your Relations!!
The Background Represents two people(two hands) coming together to watch God (the sky).
The sad face represents Janie's Unhappiness with her relationships and her life.
THEIR EYES WERE WATCHING GOD
This Picture represents Janie, in that the lady in this picture is showing whom she hides just like janie hides who she iis inside. Also the girl in this picture looks depressed jus as janie is.
I think the protaganist character,Janie, Is quite dynamic in that from the beginning she was happy even though she wasn't the wealthiest person. and she changed because as she got these things and these people came into her life she was not happy
A bit of forshadowing occured in the story when Janie's grandmother talks about the men that look good aren't any good... and janie starts to realize that.. later in her relationship with Jody.
There is also a case if situtional irony when janie first meets Jody and the beginging of there new life is great you start to think that Jody is the real one for Janie.
"She was a rut in the road. Plenty of life beneath the surface but it was kept beaten down by the wheels" (72).
