Johannes Gutenberg's Printing Press
Gutenbergs invention of the printing pressed created a whole new meaning to life. It allowed people in the Renaissance era to write literature and sell it by the copy. It was also a faster easier way to get news around the town. More copies of newspapers were made and millions of bibles were published. Now everyone was able to read not just the higher class. This was a major rebirth of civilization because of the information that was now provided. People are now smarter and more knowledgable to life around them.
Today our printing presses are ten times bigger, faster and more efficient. We can print off things around the country enough for every single person to have a copy. Books are bigger, people are smarter and everyone knows how to read. We as modern day people have the ability to get better jobs because of our knowledge. Unlike in the Renaissance when it first came out people were just learning.
