In Persia around 650 B.C.E a new religion was invented by a man named Zarathustra. This religion is a dualistic religion with belief in two great gods. Ahura-Mazda was full of light and good while on the otherhand Ahirman was full of evil and darkness. These two gods were in a struggle over creation causing it to be eschatholigical. Meaning that in the end all of the good would overcome the evil.
