Bed Rest Room Nightmare
The room is horrifying. as you can see the room contains a barred window, and has little space to move around.
The house is located on a steep hill, it is isolated, and there are no neighbors. The room is apart from the others, its on the upper floor by itself. it reminds you of a dungeon. the wooden floors are torn up and out of date.
The room has been abadoned for the past four years now. it was said that a strange murder took place in this room. the room's bed is uncomfortable like a hard outside ground. the room lacks any light and is soundproof.
From time to time you hear squeaks in the floor. a resident who once lived in the room said that she heard faint voices warning her of death. the room is somebody's worst nightmare, with all of its problems how can you get a good sleep? the house has been left alone after the past strange murders, nobody will move in.
INTELLECTUAL RESPONSE: i found the reading to be interesting but somewhat difficult to understand at the end. it was clear that the lady had a problem with her. it seems as is fhe was suffering from post partum depression. her and her husband john had a strange relationship, its like they really didnt like each other john just wanted to control his wife. he never let her have a say so in something it was always his way. the narrator was crazy i believe. at the end of the story from my understanding she tore down the wall paper, and pretended to be in the wall. she kept saying that she seen woman creeping in the walls during the daytime. i wonder is what she was saying was about her the whole time. it was a very mysterious short story and left me wanting to know more about what happend.
