In the Watchmen, the concept of justice is a very big theme. The comedian always talked about how pointless it was to be a superhero because the concept of justice was an umbrella term, ineluctable in nature. I am not always pessimistic about life but in a neutral sense i consider this an inevitable truth. Watchmen shows the harsh reality of justice and that i comes to everbody whether you consider yourself a good guy or a bad guy. the biggest form of justice being death and despair. Everybody good and bad dies, everybody gets deprived of something, everyone gets sad or lonely. Everyone gets hurt, everyone dies, its just a fact of life. My Uncle was a good wholesome man, he loved us and took care of us, he died of cancer, that day a criminal is put on death row. His death is tragedy, a criminal dying is justice. Watchmen deconstructs this idea to exert that neutrality. that is why the comedian was so impulsive and violent, even though he fought for what people considered good, his actions are inherently evil. he turns into 'a parody of humanity' and how humans see the world and justice. This quote remains true to my heart, there is no way to avoid it, justice comes for us all.
