What started off as a class research project on our local dog pound, ended up with me adopting a new best friend.

I am a member of the Kansas Reading Circle, a group that reads and evaluates newly published books and recommends them for school and public libraries.
In 2000, a friend and I founded a competitive youth basketball club in town which sponsors teams from 3rd grade to high school aged players.
