Why Extract DNA? Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is part of the chromosomes found in each cell’s nucleus. Those chromosomes are composed of long strands of DNA wrapped around proteins. DNA is composed of four different kinds of nitrogen bases: adenine (A), guanine (G), cytosine (C), and thymine (T). Each spiral is made of sugar-phosphate molecules. Those molecules consist of deoxyribose and a phosphate group. DNA helps determine what every living thing is and does (or will do or be). DNA contains the hereditary information with in the genes found in the chromosomes in the nucleus. By using x-ray skills, Rosalind Franklin, in 1952, discovered Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA). She found DNA is two chains of molecules. From there on many scientists have researched DNA. They’ve formed and proven many hypothesis and theories, Now we have the technology and the knowledge to find/look at our on strands of DNA.
An example of non-fiction scientific paper. The purpose of the paper it to inform the reader, specifically, of DNA.
