George Bird Grinnell
George Bird Grinnell was born in 1849 in New York. He attended school in John James Audubon's mansion in Ossining, New York, where he developed a love for birds at an early age. He then attended Yale and studied cretacious toothed birds. Yes, birds with teeth. They hurt. He didn't graduate with a huge record. He still loved those birds though. After that he met some indian tribes and learned their ways. While learning with the idians he gew a desire of envirmontal conservation so he became an editor of Forest and Stream magazine. He used the magzie to show his dissatisfaction for hunting. By doing so he promoted and succeeded in creeating a fee for hunters. ftw.
