Just some new lyrics I've been working on. =] Intro: I need you here, tonight, right now. My heart is calling, but you won't pick up. I want you here, tonight, but how? Your heart is broken, out of service, and you wish that I'd give up. Chorus: I told you I loved you, you wouldn't look me in the eye. The discomfort in that room made me want to die. I just want an answer, Turn off your answering machine. You're too scared to answer, so you just let it ring. Verse: It's another lonely Friday night. We made plans and they never took flight. You say you miss me, but I hardly think it's so. Sometimes I think you just wish I'd leave you alone. Bridge: You aren't the person that you once were to me. You aren't the person that once said you loved me. You aren't the person who told me not to go. You are just the person who told me I'd never know. Break: I'll never understand how you could fake that smile. You asked an inch, and you took the mile. You're different now, our feelings aren't the same.
