The story of tonight, See the pain in her eyes as she begins to cry. A downpour of all the lies as she looks to the sky. Oh God she tries but it won't suffice... Morning breaks another day, The scars won't fade away. It's just too much to face... The blades so kind, she's losing her mind. She hits the ground without a sound, Blood all around. Here comes the darkness. Because it's the story of tonight. Everything was right...then came the fight followed by the light. The story of tonight. The tears fall down, as fear rains in. The room for forgiveness is way too slim. Broken hearts float on the night air. Her soul screams it just ain't fair!

The shame so clear, her fears so near and known. The fire in her heart burned so bright now beats doused out. The story of tonight. The sun light starts to begin. Her eyes open wide as last night starts to sink in. The pieces of her heart lay at her side, he doesn't even noise as he walks right by. Every single tear leaves her more empty inside, The story of tonight. No longer a happy smile, because of pain it's gone away for awhile. Because of his choice he started a change. Now she lays awake all night fighting her scars inside before her world collides with the emptiness without light. The story of tonight. She can't even look in his eyes before she starts to cry. Blades can't fix what can't be erased it always brings her face to face with reality that shouldn't be but its all she can see. All that's come by one stupid action haunts her life with its own satisfaction.

His once heart of flesh has turned to clay, Darkness blocks the light of day. Broken hearts and broken dreams makes everything not what it seems. The sun goes down, the clouds set in, once more that nights memories begin. To haunt her days to haunt her nights, That is the story of tonight.
