He wanted something unique, something so profoundly different. She wanted something that her parents would never approve of, a rebel of sorts. Becoming friends with each other was a choice; falling in love with each other they both had no control over. "You know, having painful memories isn't something we can just forget about. Painful memories are always going to be there, no matter who you meet or what you do. You can't forget." Those were his words of wisdom. "Are you the type of person who ever wonders? Not just about normal things, but are you the type of person who takes one step further? Do you ever wonder what would happen if you stepped in front of the truck? Or if you dropped the plugged in hair dryer in the shower with the water running? I do." Those were her ideas. When they met, it was an instant chemical reaction. Extraordinary, a couple on this level of amazement. And finally , the last day came. Hand and hand, he drifted away leaving her broken. The blade pierced her pale skin. He cringed. "Don't do this to yourself. It's bad for you." He tried to force the knife away from her. "I think I can make my desicions on my own. " She glared at him. He couldn't watch her hurt herself. He'd rather die. "I've got to go." He pulled his hood over his black hair, and turned away from her. Inside his room, he could think. He loved her, he couldn't let her live like this. He couldn't bear to watch it. The scars on her arms- she acted like they weren't there, like they simply weren't important. He sighed, before opening up his palm. Goodbye, forever. She was distraught. He couldn't just leave her....He just couldn't. Maybe next time she would pay a little more attention to his feelings.
