Official name: AIDS United. Interest Group: It is a special cause. Members: There are 30 members in this interest group. What they do: They are joining together to help end the AIDS epidemic in the U.S. Involved in: They had been apart of Acess to care Community, the Partnership program, and Sounthern REACH. Summary: AIDS United is currently starting an endurance training program to join in to for a marathon or a half marathon. There is a 5 month program and a 4 month program. The marathons are to help raise money to help fight AIDS. It costs $95 and training begins in May. Reason: I chose this interest group because I know it is a big epidemic, and I would join to help end AIDS.
