Yo everyone! My name's Farah Aridi. I am hyper, funny, and smart.
When I’m 50 years old I hope to be a doctor/writer with my own house and car. I hope to be very successful in my life to impress my parents with my work. I want to be able to impress my sisters as well because I’m a role model to them. My dream car is a red Cadillac, pricey but nice. I will live in a 1-story house with 3 bedrooms, one for me, one for my parents, and one for guests. I want to keep my house as neat as possible and be different in a good way. Why be a doctor? I want to help people and getting paid for it isn’t a bad idea. Why be a writer? I always enjoy writing stories so why not get paid for it?
My favorite book is titled Where the Red Fern Grows. This book is about a boy and his 2 dogs who go hunting in the woods almost every night. At the beginning, the man runs into an old hound dog defending a smaller one from wild dogs. While watching the fight, he remembers what it’s like to have to fight for your last hope. He takes the dog home, feeds him, and lets him continue his journey. He begins to tell the tale of his two hound dogs. His family was poor but happy until he started to catch a disease in his heart, puppy love. His family couldn’t afford to buy him 2 dogs so he worked for years till he could buy the dogs himself. His grandpa ordered the dogs for him, but he didn’t wait and traveled to get them himself. They became good hound dogs and won him two trophies in a hunting contest. One dies while fighting a mountain lion and soon the other follows. On the place they were buried an angel planted a legendary Red Fern by them.
I think the most valuable lesson I’ve learned is that of sacrifice. I used to think that only heroes were the only ones that sacrificed but one day it was my turn to play hero. It was my sister’s first X-mas and I did whatever it took to make her happy. No matter what I offered to do for her she rejected me and told me she wanted one thing, something I wouldn’t know till X-mas. I tried to think what she could want for X-mas, toys, pets, anything was possible. I kept at it till the day before X-mas. What could she want that I haven’t offered? I was depressed the whole day till I went to sleep. In the morning we all rushed downstairs to open our presents! I decided to give my sister the only thing I could, I gave her my present. She looked at mom then at me. “I don’t want your gifts, I want your attention!” She smiled as I hugged. That was a valuable lesson indeed!

In United's first Premiership match of the 1995-96 season against Aston Villa, David came off the bench to play in the second half. United were beaten that day prompting the now notorious Alan Hanson remark, "You can't win anything with kids". The one bright point for the United fans was the wonderful strike from David. That was his first Premiership goal. It was Beckham who scored the winning goal in the semi-final of the FA Cup at Villa Park against Chelsea. This led to United completing the 'double' in the 1995-96 season.
