One of the poetic devices I used in this poem is personification. Another one is the end rhyme in the 3rd stanza at the end of the last three lines by using quicker, angrier and rougher. I like this poem because it has a good flow to it, I want this poem to be engaging for the reader and inviting the reader to imagine the beauty of the waves. I feel that personification best describes the waves.
