My life has been devoted To making your life, Well… Miserable. Two years younger. What a pain! Running around the house Shouting I’m busy on the phone and you Scream so I can’t hear the other end! What a pain.
Not letting you have that extra French fry Or that last scoop of ice cream I know that that’s mean ‘Cause you’re always kind to me.
When you accomplished that really long book I could feel pride on both of our faces. But instead, I shouted, “Well I’ve done better!” Anger and sadness replaces pride on your face. As you mutter out, “I hate you.”
But now that you have your own life I see myself in you What a pain. I’m sorry for the things I’ve done But one thing’s for sure, Even though I hate to admit I love you.
I Hate To Admit...

I picked this poem because I thought that it expressed my feelings a lot.. Also, I like the use of the rhyme scheme that i used.
