Stepping so gently On the floor He pulled out his sword But the dragon ceased to snore The dragon’s eyes opened Gazing at him His eyes full of woe His expression grim But the man wont hesitate Nor shall he die He took a deep breath And said good bye Taking a stance And one great leap He struck his blade And the blood did weep The dragons face No expression can define His eyes set on him Until they lost all shine
In caverns old And rivers deep A tale was told That made willows weep A man what strode Upon his steed Was once bestowed A powerful key His quest was far He would not sleep Until he unlock the treasure In the dragons keep The days grew long And nights too dim But he will find What belongs to him When he arrived In the desolate place He could not believe Its state of disgrace
The sight, the bones Lay upon the floor Armor, hero's, blood And gore. Now through the castle And through the door He went fourth With the key he bore hile silently walking To the dragons keep Most delicately waiting For it to sleep is chance had come And there he crept To slay thy mighty dragon Where he slept tepping so gently On the floor He pulled out his sword But the dragon ceased to snore
The dragon what is lost In an eternal sleep Is there today And still he weep For the treasure What the man did desire Took the dragon Many a year to acquire Finally the man Placed his magic key Inside the lock Where it need be But the door was unlocked He could now see The dragon was not guarding His way to thee His eyes did tear His heart did bleed He killed the mighty dragon Without any need
The door flung open And lead to a room That was dark and scary And full of gloom But there Lying upon the floor Was the maiden Which the man did adore Her skin was white Her lips where red But the man was too late For she was already dead. He cried and fell Onto her chest Wiping his tears On her vest His thoughts full Of the dragons dismay For the dragon loved her And could not say
Gracing his hand Onto her cheek He felt his heart Start to leak He took thy maiden And lay her down In a valley of flowers And a crystal gown He prayed to gods That she wake from her sleep And for the dragon His soul would keep. For thy mighty dragon Had a heart of gold He loved thy maiden Now his story was told For in caverns old And rivers deep The tale was told Of dragon who weeps - Natalie Celliers
