Jazz in the '20's
When jazz first started many people disliked it. many debates were stared between supporters and haters.
Popular dances include the Charleston, The Monkey Glide, and the Shimmy.
Jazz became so increasingly popular in the twenties that it was played in dance halls across America
Many dances were referred to as black dances because many moves were inspired by African-Americans.
In 1927 alone, more than 100 million jazz reocrds were sold. this showed that jazz was being listened to in every part of the country.
