Reeds of Dreams . . .
I am lost among the reeds of dreams, I wonder to what I owe such fate; I hear the faint calling of a reality unknown to me, I see the shadow of a doubt linger on, I want a future blinding bright, I am lost among the reeds of dreams. I pretend to follow in among the crowds, I feel the crushing weight of self-repose, I touch the depths of thought to awaken a light so dim, I worry of past disappointments for overwrought, I cry in silent shudders to forget, I am lost among the reeds of dreams. I understand the brilliant ambiguity, I say to all: drain your sorrow, become the blank snow, I dream to be alive within a fire of ice, I try forever to dance among the stars, I hope to recall the glances of lost fates, I am lost among the reeds of dreams.
