Stage 3: Facing the unknown. Santiago goes to far out.
Stage 4: Trials and testing. Santiago stays out at sea for days.
Stage 5: Innermost cave/ Final battle. Santiago pulls the huge fish with in harpoon range.
Stage 6: Hero is reborn. Santiago brings home the skeleton of the 18 foot marlin and everyone feels sorry and wants to help him.
