The history of this place astounds me Can you believe Over billions of years ago Dinosaurs claimed this land as their kingdom Their broken bones their only legacy Giving knowledge to scientists Of the life wiped out By colder temperatures Something that has since become a signature of this place The history of this place astounds me The beauty of this place makes me swoon Amazing rock and sand Formations in vivid colours Working together in harmony to tell a story Strong and dramatic But at the same time delicate and fragile Always being shaped and re-shaped By powerful winds and rain New secrets revealed all the time The beauty of this place makes me swoon The spaciousness of this place leaves me breathless So vast and open There’s no way You could ever feel confined or restrained At the many outlooks It’s almost as if you are on top of the world Ready to take flight And join the sun in reaching out to every nook and cranny Nothing can stop or hinder you The spaciousness of this place leaves me breathless
