The theses tells us Luther's veiws on Indulgences, and why they are not Biblically correct. Copies of Luther's 95 Theses are already finding their way into the hands of people all around Europe. Here, Luther posts his 95 Theses.
We interveiwed Johann Tezel, and he said that he cannot believe that Luther would do such a thing. ''The Catholic Church has been practicing with indulgences since it started. Just because he doesn't believe in them, doesn't mean we've been wrong all these years. He is only a monk, and is not as high in God's eyes as the priests, therefore he does not know what he's talking about,'' said Tezel.
Johann Tetzle sells indulgences to people in Wittenberg.
Luther was born in on November 10, 1483 in Eisleben, Germany. His parents were Hans and Margarethe Luther. He was the oldest of seven children. He became a monk in 1505 after surviving a severe thunderstorm. Rumor has it that he will be excommunicated by the pope if he does not recant.
