Noah Scott's Brain
The Brain Stem - the brain Stem is considered the brain's oldest and innermost region.. It starts where the spinal cord enters the skull, which forms the medulla. The brainstem controls survival functions
The Medulla Oblongata - Controls mainly autonomic functions, like heart function, digestion, and breathing. Helps transfer messages from various parts of the brain and spinal cord.
The Pons - In latin, the word pons literally means bridge The pons connects the Cerebral Cortex with the Medulla Oblongata. Serves as communication center between two hemispheres of the brain.
The Cerebellum Located above the brainstem, the cerebellum controls motor movement coordination, balance, equilibrium and muscle tone. It is comprised of mostly white matter, and a very thing outer layer of gray matter. It also contains hundreds of millions of neurons for processing data. In latin, cerebellum means Little Brain.
Bruce Lee plays ping-pong with nunchucks. That is some hand-eye coordination
The Thalamus - Composed of two eggshaped structures on top of the brainstem, the thalamus receives and redirects sensory information to the parts of the brain that deal with said senses. Also receives higher brain's replies which it redirects to the medulla and cerebellum
