ASK A GIRL!
Dear CGMagazine, I am planning to start wearing hijab but im afraid i will get treated diffrently and mocked at. what should i do?
A great way to reduce puffiness is lowering your salt in take. so you may want to stop eating chips and coffee. Also, no matter how tired you are remove your eye makeup before you go to sleep. the most common way to reduce puffiness is to apply something cool to the eyes and eye area. you can use cucumber slices or keep your eye cream in the frigde. you can even use to cold spoons, place them on your eyes for 5 minutes. certain ingredients have added benefits, for example a cotton ball soaked in milk makes the whites of your eyes whiter, teabags(wet and refrigarated) constricts blood vessels, and patatoes help reduce dark circles.
Wearing hijab for the first time will get you very nervous and you dont know how others will treat you.. Most non-muslims have knowledge of islam and know we where the hijab for modesty. Keeping that in mind they treat you with respect. Many people may jugde by the way you dress or your hijab, but the way you talk, and act may change the way they feel about you,. Many people may approach you asking about your faith and why you wear the hijab or headscarf. This gives you a chance to explain to them about Islam and why we where hijabs and dress modestly.
