Tribute To HARRY POTTER

In this book, Harry Potter is sent to live with his only living relatives, the Dursleys, when he's only an infant. The reason for this: His parents were murdered by the evil Lord Voldemort. 11 years later, Harry finds out (from a half-giant) that he's a wizard and that he'll be going to a school of witchcraft and wizardry. The Dursley's try to stop him from going, but Hagrid (the giant) won't let them.

Harry and his new found friends, Ron and Hermione, are starting their second year at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry. Something evil is happening at Hogwarts again this year, and this time, Harry is believed to be the one causing the evil. In the end, the students and the teachers come to believe that it wasn't Harry causing all the trauma at Hogwarts, but the cursed diary of Tom Riddle in the hands of a first year.

An escaped mass-murderer is loose in the wizarding world, and nobody can seem to capture him. Harry is scared shitless, because it is rumoured that the supposed mass-murderer is searching for him to kill him. It turns out that, after much reading, the murderer was never a murderer, but framed by somebody who is supposed to be dead. Also, Harry finds out that Sirius Black (the framed convict) is his godfather.

This year at Hogwarts there is a huge event taking place: The Triwizard Tournament. This tournament is only meant for students 17 years old and up, but somehow, somebody managed to slip Harry's name into the Goblet of Fire. Harry (being 14) couldn't have POSSIBLY put his name in the Goblet without being caught. This raises major fuss around Hogwarts and everybody (even teachers) believes Harry somehow put his name in it.

Now that Lord Voldemort has returned, Harry is trying his very hardest to catch even the SLIGHTEST glimpse of a sign of somebody magical around Little Whinging. No luck until the dementor attack that lands him in court in August. Throughout Harry's fifth year, he deals with the drama of growing up, girls, learning to control his emotions, and learning to deal with personal losses.

I won't say much here, but I WILL say that this book is the best of the whole series. I couldn't put it down at all. I'm not going to summarize this one for the simple fact that MANY people haven't read it and I don't want to be the one to spoil it for them :]

With the obvious signs of the return of the dark lord, Harry gains a close bond with the headmaster of Hogwarts (Proffessor Dumbledore). Dumbledore has offered Harry lessons to view Lord Voldemort's past to help find his weaknesses to bring him down without notice of the evil lord himself. Sadly, all does NOT turn out well. But I won't say anymore :]

well, i like the glog, i love harry potter, but like etherian said, the last book was slightly disappointing... like she was so tired of the series, and she wanted to finish it off... and oh, in the sixth book, i hated to see dumbledore die :( i was so sad!!! :( i wept my heart out ....

I LOVE HARRY POTTER good job! i love the face :P all the books just kept getting better as i read them. and i read them all in about 1week lol and in the last book i cried so much, not even funny... well harry hermione ron and all the others pretty much grew up in a week for me, so it was the end it was sad... sorry for the long message :P great glog! kudos 5*
