American Crocdile
Scientfic name- Crocodylus acutus
Diet
The American Crcodile eats eat rabbits, dogs, cats, and other smaller mammals. They may also eat deer, and have been known to attack humans (though no known American cases of croc-human attacks have been documented).
Reason for being endagered
Once hunted intensively for their hides, today poaching and the loss of habitat to human development are the greatest threats faced by American crocodiles.
Diffrence between Crocdile and Aligator
American crocodiles can be distinguished from American alligators by their longer, more narrow snouts and by their lower teeth, which are visible even when the crocodile's mouth is closed.
Size
Up to 15 ft (4.6 m). But an investigation in Florida showing that Crocdile's are growing in size. They had saw a couple 20 feet long and one 23 feet long!

Is 50 to 60 years
