The Silk Road also had sea routes in the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea poster yourself
The Silk Road was a series of trade routes between the Far East and the Middle East. The Silk Road flourished under the Han dynasty and while under the control of the Mongol Empire.
People would travel different sections of the Silk Road and trade with other people would do the same. The goods that would be traded included silk, diamonds, china, pearls, spices, and later on technology from Europe. The routes that merchants took were dangerous because of bandits and harsh deserts. They also had to pay taxes when traveling through different lands. When the Mongols took over the routes and kicked out the bandits and abolished the taxes.
