Titanic
The technology on the titanic wasnt as good as they thought it was. In 1912 people believed that 70,000 tones of steel could be unsinkable but they thought wrong.
The Titanic was designed by the most experienced engineers, and used some of the most advanced technologies avaliable at the time. So that was one of the reasons why the titanic was known as "unsinkable" because in the time they used the most advanced technology they thought it couldn't sink.
Why do you think the Titanic was known to be unsinkable?
Do you think that Titanic was really advanced?
Do you think iron was the best material to be use to make the ship? Why or why not?
