The Voting Process
First: Make sure you are registered to vote. -You must be at least 18 -You must be a resident of the state for a specific amount of time -You must be a citizen of the U.S -You must be registered
How to Register: -Request paperwork to register -Fill out forms that inquire age, name, address, and often party preference -You may have to show proof of address, citizenship, and age
What Happens at the Polling Place -You go to the clerk's table -You fill our an application form and sign it -The clerk reads your name aloud and passes your form to the challanger -The challager looks up your registration form -You go to voting booth and hand application to judge -Vote
What Are Exit Polls? Exit polls are when people who voted are leaving, and are asked how they voted.
