Importance of Water
Water. It is something that every living thing needs. Humans, animals, plants, insects…everything! Water is one of the main sources for energy, and without it we would either not be alive, or we would be very weak and dehydrated all the time. H2O energizes the body, and keeps you hydrated and healthy. Water also helps the world in certain ways; it’s a specific process. Water evaporates and goes into the clouds where it condenses, stores itself in the atmosphere, then the water returns to earth in the form of precipitation. Plants get water, animals get water, and even humans end up getting water from this process. Did you know that the water on the earth has been recycling forever? This brings us back to the water cycle I wrote about previously. Since water goes around basically in a circle, from the ground, to the air and back, you could be drinking water that dinosaurs walked through! Water is connected to a lot of things, and is essential to everyday life. Unfortunately, people sometimes use and waste water too much. The water that you have running while washing dishes could be used as drinking water for people who have no water. There are plenty things you can do to conserve water, here are a few: -Fill one side of you sink with water and rinse them in there rather than have the water running. -Take shorter showers. -Check for leaks inside and outside your house, then get them fixed soon. -Leave water off while brushing teeth.
