This is my project on the apollo missions 1 and 11 enjoy!
This is the crew for apollo 1 Virgil Gus Ivan, Edward Higgins, and Roger Bruce Chaffee.
This is the ship they would've flown in if they would have made it to the moon. This ship is called the module 012.
Biography on the whole thing. This crew was supposed to be the first people to fly to the moon successfully and beat russia to be the first people on the moon. Well something went wrong in the ship so they couldn't get out and burned to death. Here's a video on the disaster of apollo 1.
The date of this flight was January 27, 1967. These guys died on the ground so there was no return.
interresting fact: They did not think there flight through leading to over 5 months of modifications.
