Twas the night before Christmas in a mid winter freeze,
When Santa's reindeer were flying with ease.
The new recruits, the top of their class,
Had finished their schooling and could now fly at last.
As the wind rushed by like a frigid ocean,
So did their thoughts of physics and motion.
Just two months prior, their knowledge of projectiles,
Would have caused them to crash within just a few miles.
Drowned with vocab, formulas, and equations,
The students seemed overwhelmed, on many occasions.
There were terms such as meters, and angles, and direction,
With velocity and displacement, Is there a connection?
The reindeer learned how to calculate their motion,
To get to the next house without a commotion..
With class finally over and calculator in hoof,
They set off on a quest from roof to roof.
This knowledge they gained would solve Santa's plight,
Of how he might deliver all the presents that night.

v(ox) = v(o)cos(theta)
v(oy) = v(o)sin(theta)
x = v(ox)t
y = v(oy)t + 1/2gt^2
v(x) = v(ox)
v(y) = v(oy) + gt
