She was eveything and a million more but none could close the 6 feet between us And so, a tear finds its way out of my eye when I think about our time together a time shortened by a greedy being in a black robe a phantom with a gruesome hand Sometimes, when I lie awake, afraid to close my eyes 'cause i know who's face I'll see I can smell the flowers that will always cover her I can see the brightness of her beautiful eyes I can feel her hair sliding through my fingers And yet so close, she is found so far away Can all of us understand the pain of remembrance of longing of waiting for someone more, beyond the sunset? But even so, I still feel her hand glide over my face her hand entwined in my own always there, a part of me

There was never a time I couldn't remember There was never a bad time She understood me and I her

Sometimes we'd just lie there, her hand on my chest, happy to feel our hearts beat together, our minds set together

And always, our time in silence sharing the delight in our understanding

But even the most unfortunate man understands perfection a sweet confection that never lasts nor fills us But even so, perfection stared me in the face through deep emerald eyes set into the face of a girl unmatched Perfection, a girl who could never be replaced

She could be anything and everything a line overused by those who cannot grasp perfection, the essence of a girl that could not die even in my heart

And yet, she did. Death took her from me swept my angel who had fallen below the light of life To wait, in silence for my time to come for us to understand our bond again

But between she and I love was not a word that could be expressed in any way but being together

And tragically the 6 feet is a burden to be carried by me 'cause in all our understanding, our time together, I couldn't say, I couldn't express to her: our love and the meaning of GOODBYE
