African-Americans soldier and their living in the Civil War.In picture one, we see it is a African America during the Civil War. Picture two, it is a picture of the Band of 107th U.S. Colored Infantry that is taken in Arlington, Va. Picture three we see an African-American at work cooking. This is where the army cooked. We see on the side pictures of utinsels, rope, knife and a drink. Back then this is what some of the still they had and used it for many reason for survival.
