Little Puppies Little puppies, Small as guppies, Waiting by the street. I came walking, Quickly stalking; Had a bus to meet. Puppies bouncing, Nearly pouncing, Wanted me to play.
They were gladness, I was sadness, Wishing I could stay. I kept moving, Mood improving ‘Cause they came along. Puppies skipping, I was tripping, Sun was bright and strong.
Bus came rolling; They went strolling As I rode away. Puppies prancing Had me dancing, Brightening my day. 2006 by Robert E. Blackwell
