James Adams
James adams is a young man who was recuited to cherub when he was 11, he was not old enough to live in the junior block so he started the 100 day training excersise immediatly. he is the main character in the cherub series but a lot of things happen to the characters with him and around him. The things he has to do on his under cover missions include stopping UK's no. 1 drug dealer and going undercover to get information from a man who killed 345 people in a plane crash. James is a 3 dan black belt in karate - he was taught in the dojo over a few years by expert teachers. James is a black shirt meaning he has performed outstandingly well over a number of missions. James was born with the talent of a human calculator, he can work out any complicated sum within seconds. On missions James is usually the ladies man and gets into lots of trouble with girls back on campus but overall hes a generally nice bloke.
Lauren Adams
Lauren Adams is james' younger sister who was recuited to cherub when she was 8. She stayed in the junior block until she was old enough to do the 100 day training excersise. She gets a member of a crazy religious cult (Greg Rathbone) to join cherub and now they are best friends. Lauren gets into all sorts of trouble on campus from blackmailing james to giving kids on the training excercises snicker bars. Lauren is also one of the most fun-fillied character in the series - you will absolutely adore her.
Campus friends
James' friends include: Kyle, James best friend who recruits him to cherub in the beggining, they go on from there. Bruce, the karate master who is 5 dan black belt, he is also a little funny guy. Kerry, James' girlfriend who spends a lot of time hitting and making out with James. Dana, an older more sophisticated girlfriend who James really only likes until later on in the series. Lauren's friends include: Bethany, Laurens best friend who hates james' guts. Rat, Greg Rathbone - laurens best mate who came from a crazy religious cult from the australian outback.. And there are many other people on campus for you to meet!!
The Books
So whats it all about?
Cherub in my opinion one of the best series ever! The books have so much detail and i have absolutely no idea how robert mucha more does it, Cherub is about a boy and his sister ( James and Lauren Adams ) who get recruited to a secret oragnisation which works undercover. They get trained so that they can save themselves from a gun pointing at their head or exscaping from a maximum security jail. in the first book it describes James's life and how he gets recruited to cherub and passes the 100 day training programme. In the second book he has to stop Europes biggest cocaine dealer. in the thrid book James has to break the son of a mass murder out of maximum security jail. In the fourth book James goes undercover to investigated an attempted murder from a huge height And so on! These books are so full of romance, action, suspense and many, MANY more feelings! This series will have you gripping the pages so hard you wont be able to let go.
